Notes
Source water volumes are recorded using approximately 1g per mL. Pour times and completion ranges may vary with the coffee's drawdown.
This is Tetsu Kasuya's 4:6 method adapted to the V4 Wide with the FAST bottom. Grind slightly finer for the V4 Narrow.
Grind one click coarser for CLASSIC; make the last pour central for OPEN; mix circular and central pouring for the last two pours with APEX.
Grind slightly finer when changing to OREA WAVE or SIBARIST FAST paper.
For more sweetness, swap the first two pours to 50g and 70g. For more strength, divide the final 180g into three 60g pours. The source gives no timing for the additional pour, so the schedule retains the basic four-pour version.
